The Law Office
The law firm VERUM is a team of professional attorneys-at-law providing legal services meeting the highest quality standards to Lithuanian and foreign companies and private customers.
Our main area of practice is transport law in which we have specialised from the very beginning of incorporation in 2000. We have gained the greatest experience in the above area of practice through drawing up and assessing different contracts, advising on the issues concerning insurance law, providing legal conclusions, representing our customers before courts and arbitration tribunals, dealing with various issues concerning labour law.
Other our areas of business law include corporate law and commercial law, labour law, real estate law and construction law, insurance law and intellectual property law. We also provide services to individual customers: advise on family law issues, deal with the issues concerning employment relationship and represent them in criminal cases.
We do not confine ourselves only to activities in the local market. We are established in Vilnius, however, we provide legal services in the whole country. We work both with Lithuanian and foreign companies. Our law office has gained long-lasting experience through cooperation with a law firm in Latvia Petrovs & Partneri (www.petrovs.lv), a law office “Pormeister” (Advokaadibüroo Pormeister, www.pormeister.ee), which is our partner in Estonia and we also maintain regular contacts with our colleagues in Belarus, Russia, Poland and Germany. Such cooperation allows us to offer our clients versatile legal assistance on a national and international scale.
We are proud of our team. Although there are no so many of us, we are strong professionals of the respective fields expeditiously responding to the arisen problems or issues. Through our experience and knowledge, we make recommendations about how to avoid undesired situations in the future or prepare for possible changes in advance.
We are linked to our cherished values which constitute grounds for our successful activities, i.e. quality of services, professional competence, operational efficiency, flexibility and ethics.
